Our Work/Geeks on Wheels

Geeks on Wheels.

London IT support company providing remote and on-site tech help, managed IT and cybersecurity for businesses and homes across the UK.

Sector
IT Support, Technology

For more than 20 years, Geeks on Wheels has kept London’s homes and businesses running, from Wi-Fi and repairs to managed IT and cybersecurity.

We rebranded Geeks on Wheels around a custom ‘G’ that doubles as a power button, then carried the new identity into a website built on its own WordPress theme.

The site separates business and home support, keeps booking one click away, and lets the team add services as the business grows, as it did with cybersecurity protection.

Framed By The Brand

The homepage tells visitors why to choose Geeks on Wheels, with the team cut into the brand’s ‘G’. Open the reasons.

The Device As A Frame

The team photo is cut into the brand’s ‘G’, just as the guidelines frame imagery, so the website and the brand speak as one.

Real People, Not Stock

Customers see the technicians who will actually turn up, the strongest reassurance an IT firm can give.

Four Reasons, One At A Time

Each reason opens on its own with its icon, so the section stays short on a phone. Open another.

Why people choose Geeks on Wheels.

  • Urgent visits across London and secure remote help nationwide, often on the day you call.

  • Managed IT, Wi-Fi, repairs and cybersecurity, scaled to a household or a whole office.

  • Vetted technicians who fix the problem and explain it in plain English.

  • Encrypted remote sessions that sort issues wherever the customer happens to be.

Built For Every Screen

The same homepage reshapes itself for a phone, a tablet and a desktop. Switch the screen size.

Laid Out For The Phone

On a phone the headline comes first, then three clear ways to get help, each a full-width button that is easy to tap.

Reshaped, Not Shrunk

On a tablet the hero centres and the buttons stack; on a desktop the ‘G’ takes the right half. Switch the screen.

Nothing Hidden

Every service, reason and review is on every screen, so no visitor misses what the desktop shows.

How It Was Built

We built Geeks on Wheels a custom WordPress theme, with business and home support kept apart and the new brand running through every page.

Responsive Design

Every page was designed for the phone as carefully as the desktop: services, reasons to choose and questions stay clear and easy to tap on a small screen.

User Experience

A Services menu lays out every offer in two columns, service cards carry the ‘G’ watermark, and every page leads on to support, booking or a call.

The Mark

The Logo

A bold, friendly wordmark with a custom ‘G’ that reads as a power button, and the tagline Technology Experts beneath.

What Inspired The New Logo?

The custom ‘G’ is drawn to suggest an on/off button, a quiet nod to the technical expertise behind the name, set beside a friendly, rounded wordmark.

Three Versions

The lockup carries the ‘Technology Experts’ tagline; the wordmark works where height is tight, and the ‘G’ stands alone as the marque.

Approved Colourways

Red and white on black, white on red, and red with black on the light colours. Try them.

The ‘G’ As A Device

A Watermark

Set large behind a headline, the ‘G’ adds depth to any solid colour: always white, at 20%. Try the colours.

A Frame

Cut out, the same ‘G’ frames photography; on the website it holds the team itself.

Questions.

What clients ask about how Geeks on Wheels was built.

01How does the site serve businesses and home users?
Business and residential support each have their own section, colour and services, so visitors land on help that fits them: managed IT and on-site support for offices, repairs and Wi-Fi for homes.
02How is the new brand used on the website?
The custom ‘G’ runs through the build: as the 3D form in the hero, as a watermark on every service card, as the frame around the team photo and as the icon on every button.
03Can the team add new services themselves?
Yes. Services are managed in WordPress, so when Geeks on Wheels expanded its cybersecurity offering, it gained a dedicated page and partner logos without a redesign.
04How do customers get help quickly?
Every page leads to remote support, an on-site visit or a call, with online booking for remote sessions and a four-step guide to what happens next.
05How does the ā€˜G’ work beyond the logo?
It becomes a graphic device: filled or outlined, it frames photography, sits behind headlines as a watermark, and works alone as a social and app icon.
06What did the brand launch with?
Brand guidelines, a social media kit of PowerPoint templates, a presentation template, profile images and stickers, so the team could use the new identity from day one.
