Parents Meet The Tutors First
Trust is what a tutoring family buys, so the tutors lead. Open a bio, or browse the team.
A Profile For Every Tutor
Biography, qualifications, university background and subject experience, so parents choose with confidence.
Bio On The Card
A short bio opens on the card itself, so parents can compare tutors without leaving the page.
Straight To A Consultation
Each profile leads to a consultation request, and the team adds new tutors in WordPress as Aquinas grows.

A Process Parents Can See
Families want to know what happens after they enquire. The homepage walks them through it, one step at a time.
A Process Parents Can Follow
Five clear steps take a family from the first conversation to regular progress reports.
Animated As They Read
Each step lights up in turn, so the journey reads at a glance.
Ends With An Enquiry
Every route through the page closes on a free consultation.
How it works
Expert tutors for your child. Confidence and calm for you.
We talk through your child’s goals and needs, and share tutor profiles.
The tutor meets your child and runs a short diagnostic.
A written plan for your child, kept with every report in Google Classroom.
Each lesson follows the plan and ends with a short review.
Monthly progress reports, with next steps.
How It Was Built
We crafted a refined, structured website that reflects Aquinas Tuition’s premium and personalised philosophy while making it simple for parents to understand their service and have the confidence to take the next step.
User Experience
Easy-to-use navigation, structured tutor profiles, and guided process sections make it simple for parents to explore tutors and better understand how the tuition process works.
Mobile Responsive
Every page is fully responsive, ensuring tutor profiles, testimonials, and enquiry forms function smoothly across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Interactive Design
Subtle scroll effects and animated process sections introduce movement and visual polish while keeping the academic credibility and tone of the brand intact.
"The team at First Rate delivered to every deadline that was promised to us. Furthermore, they went above on beyond, frequently providing additional support to our set-up queries related to our online presence more broadly. We could not speak any more highly of Sam, James and the team at First Rate. Supportive, responsive, efficient and with an eye and ear for the small details that make the big difference."

Branding
The Mark
The Logo
The primary logo combines a bespoke quill illustration with a refined wordmark, reinforcing the brand’s academic heritage and premium, personalised approach.
What Inspired The Logo?
The logo features a bespoke quill illustration paired with an distinguished wordmark to reflect knowledge, mentorship, and academic excellence.
What Does The Brand Marque Represent?
The circular marque contains the quill icon and can be used flexibly across digital and print applications.
The Type
Two Typefaces
Instrument Serif is used for headlines to convey sophistication and credibility.
Lato
Lato provides clarity and readability for body copy.
The Hierarchy
Headlines in the serif, body copy and calls to action in Lato: one clear order, from headline to call to action.
The Colour
The Palette
A deep green foundation represents growth and excellence, complemented by cream tones for balance and a soft gold accent that introduces subtle prestige.
Three Greens
Green represents growth and prosperity. The darker tones suggest heritage and professionalism, while the lighter shades add balance and flexibility.
Cream And Gold
A warm cream acts as a neutral to balance the palette, and a soft gold accent adds a subtle sense of quality and tradition.
The Circle Device
Drawn By Hand
Inspired by the sketched circles of the brand roundel, its hand-drawn line reflects the quill and echoes a tutor’s marked notes. Point at a word.
How Flexible Is The Visual System?
Graphic devices such as the circle device and quill illustration can be used subtly across print and digital materials to maintain brand consistency.
